Learning to be ambidextrous is the challenge. How do we run today’s organization, with limited resources and capacity AND get ready for the future at the same time?
As a Future Thinking specialist, Paul has a well-developed ability to envision potential scenarios that could shape the future of systems and sectors. His expertise is to help organizations to anticipate trends, analyze emerging technologies, recognize blindspots and develop plans that humans can participate in.
It doesn’t matter how good your plans are, the humans will resist them if they cannot see their part in the plan
Paul has a keen insight into the dynamics of change and the implications they have on businesses, governments, and communities. This enables organizations to be adaptive and position themselves for long-term success.
I don’t believe in polite dysfunction - I would rather face the facts as they are and keep progressing to get the best results possible. Too often I have seen defence of inertia (because that’s the way we do things) as a key to failure
Paul is the Founder of TYSON Thinking - a future design study for a re-imagined Human Services system in Australia.
